People at Sangam Vihar are facing water crisis for many years.  Save Sangam Vihar Campaign in cooperation with Umeed- a drop of hope is fighting against injustice.

We know that people at Sangam Vihar are very furious about the situation there. Things are beyond retrieval there. It's seen that the residents of the colony are dependent on illegal tankers, tube-wells and pipelines for fulfilling their water needs and that too have been ‘occupied’ by local heavyweights in some cases. Sometimes, people are involved in group fights, when tankers arrive to deliver water. The disputes become no easy to tackle that life sometimes becomes cheaper than water. At Sangam Vihar fight over water claims another life. People should know that Crime is not a solution to any problem.  Unity is!

                                  People should unite and stay together till the end and fight for all and not only for them. People should stand against the criminals in gangs and report to police and higher authorities. people surrender because of gangsters. They should follow a peaceful path. Follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.

And in this way, things will get better one day. People will get what they want. And one day the fight against injustice will be won.
